We thought that it would provide the ultimate in pre-filtration of the rainwater before it enters the cistern and it would alleviate gutter cleaning. We knew we had to try it out, so we ordered 120 feet of it and installed it. With being such a revolutionary product and with the ease of installation, we knew that we wanted to offer this product in our rainwater harvesting systems and to customers who want a 100% effective and affordable gutter protection product that they themselves can install. The rest is history!

Gutter Stuff® started in 1994 when the sole inventor Robert Jones, who had been in the building and remodeling business for 25 years, came up with the concept of stuffing the gutter with some kind of filter rather than covering it. After trying different types of material like plastic mesh, steel mesh, and different types of foam, he came up with the current product. He decided to name it Gutter Stuff®
